Sentinel, Great Greay Gollum, The Goliath Knight

some call him The Sentinel, others the Great Greay Gollum, most dawn him the title Goliath. from the kingdoms south of the sea of *liquid* sand on bara magna, he was found on the outskirts of Tanjun by an agori trainer, who entered him into the Atero tournament the year it was attacked by the skrall. escaping in the chaos, The Sentinel began traveling north, leaving a trail of crippled bone hunters, skrall and eventually baterra. only in the reconstruction of Spherus magna has he returned south.
Personality: quiet, and sometimes thought to be mute, it's sometimes hard to believe he isn't a robot, especially since no one has ever drawn blood from him. his style is neither pretentious nor over-estimating, and usually takes the defensive side of a fight, analyzing every move his opponent throws at him.
Strengths: despite his lack of elemental power, The Sentinel makes up for it in endurance. it would take twenty five glatorian damage counters to acurately depict his toughness. in addition, his shield absorbs any kinetic energy and transfers it to heat energy which oscillate in the pannels to allow him to attack with a sheild bash. his sword, made from scantinite metal acts much in the way of nokama's hydro blades, but on an atomic level, requiring him to expend more energy on holding it back rather than pushing it forward. this lack of friction causes the blade to be sub space temperatures, sometimes causing challengers to get frost bite on contact. one stroke of his blade would near kill a skrall. despite his size, The Sentinel is quite fast and agile, having angular speed akin to any normal glatorian (means he's really dang fast, look it up). in adition, his large feet can even lock into the sand or soil beneath his feet to prevent being knocked over. although some expect him to not be intelligent, he often knows what the next move his attacker will make and can block it accordingly.

moc Design:
My main goal in this moc began when I started using system parts in the head to make some sort of knight moc, and eventually resorted to using mainly grey pieces. most of my early inspiration came from dark souls, starting with the black/grey knights, but I eventually added sinspiration from RoosterTeeth's RWBY series with the giant sparring armor in the white trailer. I originally wanted to make the blade longer, but I didn't want to ruin the integrity of the front edge of the blade.
